The Robotics Seminar, hosted by the GTU Robotics Club (GRC) on 4th August 2022, took place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of the CE/IT Department at GEC Modasa. The event, managed by the Technopreneur Club, featured an inspiring introduction by the principal and HOD. The seminar aimed to educate students about robotics events like e-Yantra and ABU Robocon, and to share knowledge about the field of robotics and automation. The GRC Club, known for its achievements including a Top 10 rank in DD National Robocon 2022 and the "Visvesvaraya Design Award," provided insights into their work and successes. Students interacted with GRC members, learning about robotics mechanisms and the club’s impact. The seminar encouraged students interested in robotics to join the club and support enthusiastic engineers. The event was well-coordinated with all participants maintaining discipline and engagement throughout the session.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
