This department is accommodated in the main building (01), having laboratories in area like Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Concrete Technology and Geotechnic Engineering. All these Laboratories are well equipped to meet the testing requirement as per ISI. This interdisciplinary department is engaged in teaching subjects of Mathematics, Communication Skills (English), Contributor Personality Development, Physics and Management.
Science and Humanities Department imparts education on basics and fundamental theories of engineering i.e. Physics and Mathematics. Physics lab which provides basic knowledge of science and develops scientific acumen among students consist of experiments like Hall effect, Four Probe resistivity meter, Ultrasonic velocity meter, Hysteresis curve tracer etc. English language is taught through language lab and various other co-curricular activities. The lab has rich collection of BBC documentaries based on science and engineering. The department consists of highly qualified and well experienced faculty members.

This joint degree program draws from both humanistic and scientific studies, providing students with a basic command of each mode of inquiry.
