The Essay Writing Competition on 28th March 2023, organized by the Technopreneur Club, focused on anti-corruption awareness. Held at the Civil Department from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the event saw 30 participants (22 boys and 8 girls) sharing their views on effective strategies to combat corruption. Faculty Coordinator Prof. Girish Limbad, along with student coordinators Hemant and Sunil, guided the event. It began with an introduction to the rules and objectives, followed by participants writing essays that explored their thoughts on tackling corruption. The competition aimed to engage young minds in meaningful reflection on this critical issue, promoting awareness and encouraging proactive solutions. The event concluded with a brief photo session to document the occasion.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
