On September 25, 2023, GEC Modasa celebrated Artistry Fiesta, a vibrant event organized by the Technopreneur Club. This festival of creativity and talent featured three exciting competitions: *Brushstrokes Brilliance: The Sketch Drawing Challenge*, *Creative Crafter's Showcase*, and *Notice Board Decoration*. In the *Brushstrokes Brilliance* competition, Shah Rudra secured first place with an outstanding sketch. Patel Jiya and Patel Margi jointly took second place, while Patel Nisha and Patel Dharmi shared third place. Hirapara Jaykumar and Suthar Keyur earned fourth and fifth places, respectively. The *Creative Crafter's Showcase* saw Team 1, consisting of Dholariya Aarju A. and Shah Vishva Gauravbhai, winning first prize, with Team 5, comprising Priyanka Late and Sagar Vishvas, coming in second. The *Notice Board Decoration* event displayed remarkable teamwork and creativity. Team 10, including Neha Jha, Dodiya Devangi, and Dhimmar Ayushi, won first place, while Team 5, composed of Het Purohit, Manish Paliwal, Vivek Prajapati, and Jitendra Prajapati, secured second place. Artistry Fiesta 2023 was a grand success, celebrating the artistic talents of our students and fostering a spirit of creativity and innovation.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
