On September 15, 2023, the Technopreneur Club at GEC Modasa organized the Engineer's Day celebration, honoring the invaluable contributions of engineers to society. The event, marking the birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, began with a captivating skit by our talented students, highlighting the significance of Engineer's Day. This was followed by melodious songs from our esteemed faculty members, Prof. V.A. Rathod and Prof. A.A. Prajapati, adding a musical touch to the celebration. The faculty also shared their inspiring engineering journeys, offering students valuable insights. The day concluded with a vibrant Garba session, bringing the community together in a joyful celebration of culture and engineering spirit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants and attendees for making Engineer's Day 2023 a memorable and inspiring event.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
