The office of Principal Scientific Advisor, Vigyan Prasar, Government of India, along with the Ministry of Culture had coordinating aggregated ongoing grand activities of the Science and Technology eco-system in India as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. As a part of the conclusion, week-long festivities and celebrations are being organized during February 22-28, 2022 culminating with National Science Day on 28th February. The celebration week is given the title “Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate†. The celebration week activities are being organised simultaneously across 75 locations all over the country. A Mega Exposition showcasing various achievements in Science & Technology during February 22 - 28, 2022, at Gujrat University,Ahmedabad is also a part of such events.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
