Trees are of invaluable importance to our environment and to human well-being. They give us clean water to drink, air to breathe, shade, and food for humans, animals, and plants. They provide habitats for numerous species of fauna and flora, firewood for cooking and heat, and materials for buildings and places of spiritual, cultural, and recreational importance. Trees are so important for the global environment and the health of the species that live there, and they need our unconditional care and protection. To realize the importance of Tree Plantation a drive was initiated on 29th September 2022. The faculties and students who have jointly participated in this drive ,have planted one tree each in the department and taken an oath to take care of that tree for 1 year and then transfer the care it to their juniors when they leave.
