To spread awareness about cyber-crime and safety acts among students, faculties, administrative staff as well as people of society a seminar titled Awareness on acts related to women’s safety was jointly organized by WDC Team in association with RUSA, GEC Modasa and S.P. Office, Aravalli on 27/03/2023 at Visvesvaraya Hall, during 11.30 am to 1.30 pm. Session was graced by eminent speakers Smt. Komal Rathod-PSI Gujarat Police, Shri J.H.Chaudhari-PSI Gujarat Police and Shri. K.D. Gohil- Local Crime branch-PI Gujarat Police and respected Principal Dr. B.J. Shah.
Government Engineering College, Modasa was established in 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar in North Gujarat region with a view to spread out technical education in the region and hence promote industrial development. The institute was affiliated with Hemchandracharaya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan from 1984 to 2007. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad from 2008. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
