Introduction to Design Lab

The government engineering college Modasa has organized a training about introduction and modality of design lab on 1st june 2020. The training program was sponsored and supported by Design Innovation Center (DIC),Gujarat Technological University. The Training aimed to introduction of various resources and instruments available in GUJCOST sponsored design lab available in E.C. Department. Considering the pandemic condition the training was organized on online platform and was live streamed on the youtube. Prof. P .V. Patel , asst.E.C. Dept. , Prof. B. A. Nrahmbhatt , asst. prof. E.C. Dept. , Mr. Jigar Patel , Lab technician E.C. Dept. , Mr. Javvad Kadiwal DIC lab project assistant conducted the training on online platform. The college has also planned successive training series where each and every available instrument will be demonstrated and taught separately. The first live session was seen by 150 plus participants from the institute faculties and students. The session covered the idea behind lab, Modus operandi to use the lab, and resources such as wired and wireless cctv camera system including dvr ,nvr IOT bundles, Programmable Logic Control , Programmable Automation Control , available development boards such as Arduino boards, STM controllers, Raspberry Pi, Beagle bone , DSP boards etc. Power electronics component such as motors, dc-dc converters, Inverters etc. PCB prototyping machine was also demonstrated during the training.
