Mundra port visit

On 2nd and 3rd November 2023, a site visit to Mundra Port was organized by Civil Engineering Department. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to port infrastructure and operations, as well as to enhance their understanding of coastal engineering principles and maritime structures. A total of 53 students participated in the site visit, accompanied by faculty coordinators Prof. Dron Chaudhary, Prof. Jay Pandya, and Prof. M A Farediwala. Through visual exposure to the port and interactions with industry professionals, students gained insights into coastal engineering principles and port management practices, enhancing their academic learning and career prospects in civil engineering.
