On March 6, 2024, our college organized a Blood Donation and Thalassemia Awareness Camp in collaboration with the local health department and a reputable blood bank. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and educate participants about thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder. The camp started at 10:00 AM in the college, which was transformed into a well-equipped donation center. The event saw an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff, with over 50 volunteers registering to donate blood. Medical professionals from the partnering hospital conducted a thorough screening process to ensure the safety of both donors and recipients.
