Ek ped ma ke naam

The Government Engineering College, under the government initiative "ek ped ma ke liye",a plantation drive on the campus. Wherein plantation drive will take across the campus and show our commitment college will plant big trees (Ashok , Neem , Pipal ,Banyan ) around the ground. The events shall begin at 11:00 a.m. on the date 7/8/2024.After the formation of teams and distribution of plants, the participants will take an oath to care and nurture the plants and live eco friendly life to an extent possible. Rules : 1) Participants will follow the dress code. ( white shirt,t-shirt ,dress,saree etc.) 2) Participants will be given plants but they will have to dig up the holes and make other arrangements 3) Participants are encouraged to take photos in groups, selfie, and keep updating the results at regular intervals of time. They are encouraged to keep photo records Students are instructed to upload the photos on social media. They are encouraged to keep photo records of the progress. 4) To live up to our commitment participants will have to look after planted trees. Note : This is a volunteering activity. Participants are advised to come in protective shoes and jeans. They are further instructed to take care and be mindful of their surroundings while plantation drives. Objectives: 1) To full fill our commitment toward society and mother nature. 2) To stop the erosion of ground by proving tree cover. 3) To further strengthen the bond between mother nature. 4) To provide tree cover around the campus Future Goal: 1) To make the campus even more scenic and green 2) To use the basics of permaculture and rejuvenate the land and surroundings.
